Hi, 3 of us are planning a trip to Australia next april for just short of 3 weeks (our eldest daughter is studying in Canberra for a year so we're going to see her). Our main problem is that we would like to visit a few different places but need accomodation with 2 bedrooms.. 2 x hotel rooms for 3 people works out expensive, hostels that Ive seen seem to be dorms or family rooms (ie 1 room sleeps 3..NOT what we were looking for) and apartments (ideal) seem to have minimum stays or 4 or 5 nights...GGrrrrr Does anybody know of any agencies or companies that would be able to help?:
Only places that a definately on the agenda so far are Sydney and Canberra.
Also whats the general opinion of airlines..I've heard recently that Qantas are maybe not as good as Cathay and Singapore airlines?
thanks for any help!
I would try Trailfinders to start with. I haven't been to Australia yet but these folks are pretty flexible.

this firm for Canberra. The accommodation in Oz is NOT the cheap option it used to be when the X-Rate was $2.55 to the £.
Just Google Caravan Parks in Sydney for cheaper option of chalets in that area, but on average you'll be looking at a minimum of £100 a night for a room in a hotel/motel. Much cheaper inland.
For flights, look at Emirates. Qantas share their flights with BA on a lot of routes and I wouldn't use them again
