Get on the train at the airport and change at Barcelona Sants. The Spanish railway website (renfe) will give you times and even platforms.The trains are clean and airconditioned. The cost is minimal and the trains are frequent and on time! When you get to Salou you may need to jump in a taxi to your hotel as the station is not too near most of the hotel areas.
