Hi there,

I've found a studio to rent through a private rental website, but I'm slightly confused. they are asking for a 25% deposit of the balance, which i understand is normal. However, they won't send the reservation/booking form until they recieve the cheque. Is this the usual way this happens? He could easily take the money and not send out a booking form.

Any advice would be helpful
