lOTS OF QUESTIONS SORRY:
does anyone know the web address and email?
are there many cockroaches?
which rooms are the quietest and are the ground floor rooms safe?
are there boat trips to the other parts of the island?
are the negative reviews on other sites valid?
are the swimming pools shallow enough to stand up in if only 5 ' tall?
is there a drying line and do i need to take pegs?
THANK YOU XX

the weather in Brighton is fabulous!
thankfully we never saw any cockroaches-but lots of little lizard creatures-which the kids loved!
swimming pool was fine my daughter is 9,she is quite tall and water came up to her chin in the deeper end.
not sure about boat trips-there is a shop that is open that you pay for daily trips out-i believe they went to the hippy market-and i am sure one of them was advertised to go and see the sunset-although we did think they were a bit pricey (around 30-50 euros each person which soon adds up when there are 4 of you).
we stayed at the balanzat and stayed on the 2nd floor room 201-fabulous view of the sea,was very noisy at is was right next to the sports bar-but all noise ceased by 2.30am-we could put up with the noise for the fabulous view! the rooms over the pool would probably be quieter.
on the balcony was a clothes airer which was adequate for wet beach wear-towels we just hung over the balcony.
we absolutely loved puerto san miguel and the balanzat and are looking at returning next year-it is an extremely quiet resort most of the action is at the all inclusive hotel across the way-if you do not like peace, quiet and natural environment please do not go as that is why there are some valid negative views.it depends what you are looking for in a holiday. we had a relaxing and enjoyable week we are aged 33,38,9 and 5 -so not old fogeys!
the balansat sounds ideal for what we want thank you again
Glad to hear you had a good time, we're going to go back to the Torremar part next year, after a thoroughly disappointing holiday this year - and if we can afford it, we may go in September for a cheapo break.
i have to say that the entertainment wasn't great the week we were there but what we went to see we did enjoy
entertainment across at western saloon seemed lively enough but by the end of the week got sick of hearing the same old songs and kareoke!!!!
