I am a first time visitor to Mojacar, am currently in love with Arenal d'en castell in Menorca, but fancy a change. Been to Playa Flamenca near Alicane and hated it, as it was too built up, commercialised and full of brits, there seemed to be nothing at all spanish about it!!!
Is mojacar for me?? I like to be near a selection of restaurants, not advertising english beer and breakfasts!!! Low key nightlife, with 2 small children something to keep them entertained after dinner ie, pool table, airhockey!!!
I want to be front line to the beach, have been looking at Indalo Hotel??
I have tried to google earth to find a good spot, but I think I am better off finding a street map showing hotels and apartment complexes - if anybody has one can they pass it on to me??
Recommendations wanted please!!!!!

Hi,Its full of Brits as many of us live here 12 months of the year and not just the summer season when you tourists arrive. Its not built up at all and apart from a couple of hotels the highest building is 3 stories. As for being Spanish,it is with a splattering of Brit bars offering you the pool and airball you are looking for.

Doesnt sound like it really (Just to be safe) although the nightlife is very low key and for two children you may be better looking at the "Pueblo Indalo" where children might be better catered for.Good selection of restaurants though.

Loads of Brit Bars advertising "Full English breakfasts" and "Sky Sports footie" and "Engish Beer" right next door.
