....In my trip report Goa has worked its Magic and I want to go back!!
I kept thinking about the great times I had in goa before last year's holiday. I even think about Palolem from last year as that was more like the Goa I know and love.
I met a girl 6 months ago who I've fallen in love with and moved out of my parents and now live in a flat with her. Life's good (if a little less well off).
I kept mentioning Goa because of what it means to me. It turnes out her Aunt (Norma Parrington) who she was very close too used to go to goa every year. She died tragically and her ashes were spread in Goa (I need to find out where).
So next year. Feb/March time I'm going back! Rachel wants to see the place her Aunt loved so much.
I want to go to Palolem, The far north, stay over at the Nature Reserve and go on the Golden Triangle tour!
I need to save some money but I really can't wait!!

Well I do have a "plan" for when i'm over there. Probably gonna stay in Ciarans Camp in palolem but i'm open to any other suggestions
Good on you Mardon... like you me and my boyf said we wouldn't go back (for a while anyway), and booked a holiday to Cuba - we are both regretting it, even though we still really want to go to Cuba we also can't stop thinking about Goa!!...... and looking on this forum every day isn't helping me!!

me and my hubby thought we would give goa a miss this year try some place else so we went to koh samui in thailand it was wounderful but guess what it wasnt goa so ive been working every hour god sends so we can go back to goa for xmas.People in work must think i havent got a life all the hours im putting in, little do they know 
Booked!!! 8th of Feb till 2nd March!! Flights and DormHouse (wont be used much) £549pp inc inflight meals! Niot a bad deal IMO!

well mardon, i do hope you have a better flight than we had,we went with goingplaces/thomascook, flight over not too bad even though we had no back seat tv ansd couldnt see the other tv,
cominghome was the worst ever, my husband was ill,and i spotted some empty seats at the back of the plane near the loos,and askedif he could move there as he was so ill they just turned around and said "well what do you want us to do" i explained again in full detail that my husband was throwing up, ext while peopl were eating, could we move to be near the toilets,"no the are for staff only" troug out the 11 and 1/2 hour fligt i had to get up and constantly ask for sick bags and help him to the loo,ten the had the ceak to give me a questionair about their service,
turned out he had a bad case of dheli belly and phnumonia... well not travel with them again...

Ooh doesn't sound to good. Never had seat back TV on the Monarch flights so thats no problem. So glad i'm going early! Only 2 Months to go!
Just had confirmation from Ciarans and Wildernest that that have availability when I want to go! Expensive but worth it!

Adele did you fly before they upgraded the planes as all of the TC long haul now have 33ins leg room and seatback entertainment as standard (see flight thread for more info), unfortunately you can never guarantee you will get polite staff .
we went this jan and were told that there was back seat tvs.. was not so bothered about going out as we slept,
but more concerned about their attitude , (good job i used to be in nursing.)
