Hi all
I may consider going on a trip out, perhaps Gibraltar or somewhere else. Are there any booking offices in La Cariheula for doing this?
Also on another topic has anyone ever heard of Transfer Del sol, for transfers please?
Thank you
Dawnie-Rob
Yes, have used transfersdelsol.co.uk several times over the years and always found them solid and dependable. Good prices, too.

Hi Dawn
Stood outside the hotel Tiburon on Calle Los Nidos with your back to the hotel .... walk left.
Just keep walking and always staying on that side of the street.
First you will pass the hotel Amaragua, and eventually you will pass the hotel Pez Espada.
Keep walking up the road and you will pass the pharamacy.
Between the pharmacy and just before the Internet cafe on the corner, is a place called Betica Travel.... they have been there for years booking /organising day trips and booking hotels for the people who are on tour in Andalucia.
They have a full list/prices of the excursions and they also do an "express" Gibraltar which costs a few more euros than the average price of the trips to Gib, but well worth the money IMO because I think they only pick up in Benalmadena and then you're on your way.
If you're taking travellers cheques, this is the place to change them, no commission and what you see on the board, is what you get.
The girl who works there speaks perfect English and she will be very helpful.
The shop is closed on Sundays and closes for siesta from 1-30/2pm until 4-30 pm (approx) each afternoon.
They close on Saturdays early.
Further up the street next to the hotel Riu Nautilus is another booking agency for trips, but I don't know too much about them.

Hi, I think there is a booking office in La Carihuela on the main shopping street one line back from the paseo ; somewhere near the Italian Restaurant but on the opposite side of the street. (sounds a bit convoluted this!) It is next to a bar with a name something like Grobblaar which has a red canopy! and it is the money exchange place too. I hope this helps.
