Hi all

It took me ages to persuade my other half that AI was the way forward. We went to Louis Phaeton in Cyprus the weather was fab the food was excellent and the daytime activites entertained all our family.
However the beach left a lot to be desired and my husband hated the Butlins style entertainment in the underground entertainment room (THE DUNGEON as he nicknamed it) He also didn't like being sat in comfy sofas beckoning waiters everytime he wanted a drink. He likes to be able to stand at the bar if he wants and socialise with fellow holiday makers.
On our return he vowed never to try AI ever again as he hated the nightimes.
After much persuasion he has agreed to try again and as we have in tow a 14 and two 12 year olds along with another couple of adults I feel the pressure is on to pick the perfect (as near as) hotel.
We are going in October so it will have to be Cyprus(not pahos) or the Canaries and we would like:-

Excellent food
Brilliant day and evening entertainment
Lots of sports
On or close to a very nice beach
Big pool
Suite/ 1 bedroomed apartment
Sociable bar area

Am I asking for too much?
Any help is gratefully appreciated
