I travelled from MAN via CDG to Mauritius a few years ago. There are two flights at roughly the same time. One is an Air Mauritius codeshare, the other is an Air France flight. Double check which you're on as you'll have an Air France flight number for both, but you could be on one or the other. Personally, I chose to fly with Air Mauritius as I prefer them over Air France. I flew back with Air France in premium economy on the 747-400 (it's now a 777-300/ER) and it was ok seat wise, but I didn't care much for the service. Take reviews with a pinch of salt as you get a bias towards negative reviews as you'll find more people add a review to complain about something than praise (we all like a good moan!). I'm sure the seats are fine, they certainly were on the 744. Regardless of the flights, enjoy Mauritius, it's a fabulous place.
