I've just been reading reports on hotels & apartments in kalamaki & everyone of them said you get charged for air conditioning & to have the fridge on, does anybody know whether this is in most of the places in zante or is it just the odd few?

Never heard of paying for the fridge to be on,but unless you are in a higher star hotel then it's normal to pay for the air con we've just returned from lindos on Rhodes and payed 100euro for two weeks air con.

Same as juggernaut never heard of paying for fridge before, you normally pay a daily charge for your air con though,having said that we went to corfu and the aircon and safe where apparently included in the price of our holiday which was a nice change, meant we had a few more euro`s to spend on mythos and metexa
