hiya, we are going on a jet 2 package holiday to marmaris, does anyone know which shuttle service they use.

WE went to Marmaris with jet2 a few weeks ago and used their transfers. The info you get from them says either UNITED BLUE or HOLIDAYTAXIS and to be honest can't remember which one it was but both transfers were fine, picked up within the stated times.

I know its a bit short notice but I am flying out to Dalaman on the 17th July and I wondered if anyone knows of a car hire company that does one way hires to drop off in Hisaronu (I have hired a villa there) or surrounding area.
I could use a transfer company but I always like a car for the first few days to have a look around and get orientated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, Fethiye to Hisaronu is about 10 mins by dolmus, cost aroun 3.5 lira, get the dolmus from outside the main mosque in fethiye, will have a sign in windscreen saying Hisaronu / Olu deniz,could also catch the one going to Kaya koy, it also goes through Hisaronu.

As it happens, I have found a company in Hisaronu high street (HamishMcTurk) that will allow me to do the one way hire and are only charging an extra £20 on top of the normal daily rate to deliver a car to the airport.

Hi going to Kadikelesi in August and have transfers included with my package with Direct holidays. I was thinking about booking a private transfer as we arrive late at night but can I still use the Direct Holidays transfer at the end of my holiday to return to the airport thanks. I will inform the holiday company before we go.

Yes, you can use the return transfer. Just inform your tour operator reps when you meet them at the airport on your outbound flight and let them know you won't be using their transer so they aren't waiting around wondering where you are. Providing you don't cancel the return transfer, you'll be picked up as normal. I got a hire car in Finland the other year and used that to get from/to the airport rather than using the provided transfers. As long as the reps in resort know about it, it's not a problem.

Never had a reason to book a Private Taxi before but after reading the distance/journey time from Dalaman to Marmaris we are seriously thinking of booking one. My question is,do you normally pay for the return journey before you arrive at your accommodation or, do you pay half on the inbound and half on the return journey ?
