A nice big hotel with lots of ground and a lovely beach and a sea that is easy to swim in no rocks etc
A well kept hotel with cleaners always on the go, gardeners are there everyday, the pools area's are cleaned every eve.
Food was good no complaints and for kids in the no smoking rest. there was a little section for them round the right hand corner which a lot of people didn't know about which had chips, burgers pasta and salad and desserts, remember to book the a la carte restuarants the mexican, italian and turkish were all lovely. Ice lollies at 4p.m served out side near the main pool and on some evenings ice cream served in the main buffet rest. at the back entrance outside.
Don't miss breakfast as the pancakes are lovely!
Taxi's right outside the hotel into Belek for 5euro
Belek was nice to visit and they have a market on a saturday in which my 9yr old son robbed us blind and came back home with 9 football strips, all very good quality and is still wearing them. Also if you feel unwell please don't contact the doctor etc they charge a fortune there are about 4 chemists in Belek where you can buy antibiotics for a few euro's, there were a lot of people that had sickness bugs but how they happened we don't know people said it was the food, others said the pools, my personal opinion is people don't always pay much attention to their own personal hygene on holiday. My husband had an ear infection, but luckily none of us were sick
Our room was fine a good size for the 4 of us and we had a nice balcony with table and chairs. mini bar stocked up daily, the kids cartons of juice in the fridge were disgusting. The bottles of water were good and also if you want more if you ask for water at the lobby bar they give you the same bottles, apart from drinking the water we actually used most of it for brushing the kids teeth.
Our kids enjoyed the many pools, and tried the kids club a few times.
The entertainment runs throughout the day at the main pool which can become quite noisy, we tended to use the bottom pool near the beach bar. Evening entertainment is the usual holiday stuff in the outside amphitheatre, with kids mini disco then a show, after the show its a woman singing near the main pool, some evenings there is a disco at midnight at the beachbar but obviously your all incl runs out then unless you have upgraded to a red wristband, however one eve it started at 11pm and my 4yr old danced for that full hour before lying on a matress from a sunbed and falling asleep and the barman covering her in a clean table cover.
We really enjoyed our stay here but we did have a few instances occuring with some holiday guests from Russia, we chose to ignore them in our second week even though some would point and stare and talk about us, we are a young couple so maybe they were jealous of our good looks The kids made friends easily although the hotel is large so that was a good bonus
The running of the hotel has good customer relations and help if you have any problems, the entertainment team are really good at taking time to speak to you, they also like you leaving them any old football shirts from scottish and english teams, we reguarly saw them wandering about with a scotland shirt one day and an england one the next, even more funny when they were wearing a rangers shirt in the morning and a celtic in the afternoon, wish we could all live like that, the world would be a much nicer place if we could all get on. anything else you want to know give me a shout
Hi Strutsherstuff, thanks for report of Alantis. I think the football shirts at the market will go down very well as we are going with two young children which are boys and they are football mad.
