I am visiting Albufeira in October and would be grateful if someone could tell me how busy / lively it is then.
I have stayed near the Strip twice before but this was in May/June time.
Also, what is the weather usually klike at this time.
Weatherwise October isn't much different to May, usually. This year May was fairly horrible, so all being well October will be still in the 70's and fairly dry.
Many places stay open until after the October UK half-term holidays so you shouldn't be too badly off. It's from November until Easter that things are really quiet except for New Year.
