Ciudad Blanca an absolute gem, right on the beach

The Pariaso apartments are right on the beach, and the reps work really hard to keep the children entertained.

I wonder if Salve is still there........................watching him do water aerobics every morning cheered me right up!

The Ciudad Blanca is I think only all-inclusive in high season. May be wrong. Could it be Playa de Muro? There are other Iberostars there, and like the Ciudad Blanca are all very good, but maybe more flexible for S/C. They're all by the beach and with the possible exception of one are 4-star.

hotels on the peaceful but fun side (I know that sounds impossible - but
I'm an optimist - just so we get some good sleep (after all we ARE all out there to have a 'rest' .

Hi, the Paraiso and Ciudad Blanca are both by the beach and reasonably quiet (Ciudad Blanca you'd want to be fronting the beach preferably rather than the main road), but both are just across the main road from what might be called the "Bellevue area", so loads of fun. Both offer you the best of both worlds. The Playa de Muro hotels - less fun perhaps, maybe a bit quieter. Check out also the Orquidea Playa, this is a bit further away from the Bellevue area, but in a very quiet spot by the beach. Website: http://www.almarsa.es

We found the Viva Tropic at the port end of Alcudia excellent, it had entertainment but was in general very quiet at night with no screaming yobs. We only booked it after checking the reviews on holiday truths and it was one of the best holidays we have had.

Thanks Andrew and Pedpolly - one last query - just curious to know if you booked through travel agency or direct? I have used a travel agency previously and am wondering about direct-any benefits etc
