Thinking about booking one week in a busy complex like the Brisa Sol or Clube Praia de Oura but would love other recommendations. We need somewhere with lots going on and access to many restaurants and bars. We did day trip to Albuferia when in Lagos but I can't say it's a place I am familiar with.
We would like to follow this with a week in a decent private villa with a pool in the Western Algarve and would wish to be within about a five km radius of Lagos. Not bothered about the villa being near the beach, countryside location would be fine.
I am assuming my best bet will be to DIY this, as I am not sure if there are companys that could put it together for me unless anyone can recommed someone.
My current thinking is secure flights first, then book the villa, as I am assuming the good ones go quickly and perhaps leave the apartment till last ?
Wondering a bit about budget, am hoping that a 1 bed apartment will be somewhere between £600 and £800 for a week and a villa about £1000 to £1200 or are these figures totally unrealistic for the end of July ?
