Basicly limited to Thomson and Island cruises and sometimes there is a special on some other lines.
I know you mentioned thomson already but twice we have booked a cruise with thomson and twice we got the AI free. First on the spirit and we are going on the destiny in nov. We thought it was fantastic and to be honest if we couldnt get it free this time we would have been happy to pay for it, No worrying about the extra charges you are running up and getting smacked with a bill at the end of your hols.
Eat drink and be very very merry

its our first cruise but the facilities do look great including ice rink and nightclub.
If you do not mind asking how much have you aid ?
thats in euros and it is alot but its our honeymoon and we were being quoted for similar prices to travel to mauritaus, which is so far away and off season. the facilities on board this cruise look amazing and my travel agent has been on 3. plus i've never been to italy or any of the destinations and there are 185 excursions to choose from.
they also cruise from southampton. their website is http://www.royalcaribbean.com
Make sure RCI know it is a special.
Is this realy AI? RCI don't normaly do drinks inclusive,

I too wondered about Royal Caribbean, all Inclusive as I have never heard of RCI doing AI?
its my first cruise and i never would have thought of one before. but it does seem to tick all the boxes in terms of weather, facilities and a chance to visit some mediteranean destinations.also we don't have to travel too far after our week in cyprus.
For days in port we usualy have a decent breakfast and sneek some fruit off the ship(it is not allowed to take it off the ship, EU rules not the ships, since the products come from the US).
On return a snack in the pool grill or buffet usualy sees us through to late sitting dinner.
Fantazmic: Since this is your first, a couple of hints, Food is mostly inclusive there will be a surcharge if you use the speciality restaurant. It is customary to tip room service a $or two.
For the main meals you can order whatever you like from the menu and more than one if you want, check what the "always available" items are the first night so you know in case you don't fancy the main items one nght. You can also mix and match, if you fancy the veg from one dish but hte meat form another just ask.
I also recomend checking out the buffet menu for dinner it is often very good.
You may also want to consider eating b.fast and lunch in the main dinning room, unch on a sea day with good service can be better than the scramble for the buffet.(if you are a sun worshipper then taking the food to the lounger is an option from the buffet.
Each day you will get a program for what is going on around the ship check it out and highlight the things you want to do some may be close together on timing but in different locations arround the ship.
First day Learn the ship there should be a walking tour to show you round go on it.
You may also want to stick some of that Cyprus wine in the case and hope they don't take it off you.(wine box is the easiest and safe from getting broken).
Are any of the Western Mediterranean cruises all Inclusive ?
I believe Island Escape is all inclusive and on the Thomson ships you can upgrade at time of booking from £49 upwards. I haven't heard of any deals on the more upmarket massmarket lines. At the premium end of the spectrum Silversea has gone all inclusive but their fares start at something like £2500 for a week.
I have just returned from the repositioning cruise of the Celebration Palma to Sharm-El-Sheik and the All Inclusive was available to book before we went at £140 pppweek a total of £560 for the two of us - bit expensive.
