Hello,
Myself, hubby and 10 year old son would like to go on All Inclusive deal from East Midlands Airport at the end of August. We want to relax by the pool and the beach, with good quality food and not be too expensive either.
I think we are asking too much but you never know!
Thanks in advance.
You didn't say if you wanted 1 week or 2, but the Thos Cook website is returning a number of deals for Turkey, such as a week at the Grand Ideal in Marmaris for £1289, or if Turkey doesn't appeal, the same week (23-30 Aug) at Palma Nova Palace (Majorca) for £1683
Sorry - we want to go a for a week but is there anything cheaper or am I asking too much?
Try Turkey, Antalya, Lara beach area. These hotels are some of the best value for money. Saying that prices have gone up so you might have to chance a late deal nearer the time, although they don't seem to be around much at the moment.
Balkan have the Hotel Panorama, in Albena, from 13 Aug for a week, at £1176; I don't think you'll get AI much cheaper, in August at least, unless you wait for a possible last minute deal
AI in the school holidays tends to be expensive and I think you will find places like Lara Beach are pretty booked up. We are going to the Larespark and that had no availability weeks ago. Have you considered looking on somewhere like Travel Republic, because they aren't a tour company you may get a good deal, or look at proper DIY. See if you can find the flights and then you can great hotel deals from Med Hotels who will also sort out transfers. May be your best bet at cutting down the cost.
Just a hint that has worked for us - You might want to think about being a little more flexible with the airport. we live approx 10 miles from East MIdlands but have only flown from there once as the prices tend to be hiked up a little. I think it's because the flights are limited there (not as many as some other airports) You may get a more competitive price from Birm airport which is not that much further if you live close to EMA.
This may only work for us as we usually go long haul - once again prices for AI are better value if you go a little further afield. we find you get more for your money doing it this way.
If you want to know any more info about the AIs we have visited let me know!
