Loads of trips available - ephesus, pamukkale, bodrum by ferry, boat trips etc. You can also do things like jeep safari tours with water wars - which you will definitely appreciate because it's baking hot here now (sunscreen a must, lots of water and hats highly recommended).

The water park's very good, it costs £8 for the day and the kids love it. Once thing though, you have to buy refreshments there, they won't let you bring them in. If you want, bring them along but you will have to leave them at the door and collect on your way out!

No point in recommending places to eat - they are all a similar standard and prices are similar too - just go where you like the atmosphere. Don't forget that you will pay more the nearer you are to the beach though.

If you are planning a trip to the beach, go EARLY or head off the beaten track. It's busy...
