Hi All, heading to Alvor with family. We plan to hire a car for a few days, would welcome ideas on places worth a visit. Kids are 11 & 14 so need to be kept entertained.Thanks for your help
For your kids, both within half an hour drive of Alvor:
Slide and Splash waterpark
Zoomarine - dolhin/sea lin shows plus some small rollercoasters
Not related to the car but I can recommend the trips from Alvor harbour in the RIB boats to see the wild dolphins. We have done this trip two years running and even my moody 15yo still talks about it

The Lagos Zoo is not too far away. It's not huge but there's some 'hands-on' interaction with the animals.
