When we stayed at the Anastacia we had a family room with sea view. Room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, couldn't really see much of the sea, but had a great view overlooking pool and bar area. This was one of the best hols we have had, Hotel and Staff couldn't have been any better. Looking to go back 2008. Hope this helps.

Do you know if there was any rooms with full sea view?

Never had a sea view room before and really fancy one. First holiday without the kids, so feels a bit strange booking for 2 people and not 4.

The thing that surprised me is that we can have family suite for the same price as a room for 2. What do you think I should go for?

I have read great reviews about this hotel, and definatly want to go in June 2008, how far is it to the main touristy part of Stalis? Is it in a good location or in the middle of nowhere? Any advice would be great.

Whats the food like and staff etc would help, thanks very much for your reply.

we too are going to the Anastacia this year every report i have read is excellent so please nobody spoil it by adding horror stories, maybe i should stop coming on here until i get back .

Liz have you tried other sites for information,google Anastacia and you will find many more

Don't think any rooms had a full sea view,as Hotel is not right on top of beach and set back.but rooms do look out towards the sea, if you know what i mean.Personally would go for a family room (much bigger).Hotel is in a quite position but only 5 mins from main beach road.for shop's restuarants.Read the review that the wife has written in Hotel Reviews (first one) Couldn't fault hotel/food from start to finish of holiday, a little gem.and a holiday that we still talk about and will go back to.

Hi,

I am staying at the Anastasia hotel from 29th June to 14th July with my mom. I have read all the reviews and I can't wait!! I think we have a family room to which is good reading the replys!! Anyway its my mom's birthday on the 7th July, and I wondered if anyone knows if the hotel has an email address so I could arrange a bottle of champagne and some other stuff, as it will be her first birthday with her mom, and I want to make it extra special. Or do you think it will be better to leave it until we get there?

We are also 1st timers to Crete!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
