I was holding off replying as I do not know the answer to the ATM question. We had 2 weeks in Anaxos a couple of years ago and I do not recall having any problem with money. I do remember using an ATM in nearby Petra and Molyvos but can not remember one in Anaxos (not to say that there isn't one though!). I do remember changing money in the Anexos Hotel despite not staying there and that the rate was reasonable.
Have a great time - we did and are going back for 2 weeks in August/September.
