Sanji. I think maybe you and others have misunderstood my replies to this thread. I am not "so against" what this man is doing. I have sent you a PM to explain my feelings.

this animal sanctury certainly sounds like it could be a great place to visit, i am hoping to go to benidorm next summer and did intend to visit terra natura but after reading some of the stuff about the animals there i won't bother....i have read this thread and understand that the animals here are still in captivity , being viewed by the public but i think thats a million times better than being passed around posing for photographs or being made to perform in shows etc we are a family of animal lovers and i'm sure my kids would prefer to go here too and take some goodies for the animals.

We visited this place two years ago and found some of the states the animals were in rather upsetting, especially the chimps who had serious psycological(spell?) problems. This is just a stopping off place till they recuperate and can be sent on to larger places that can accomodate them better. It was not a happy place and if your children are small, I wouldn't take them.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the animal sanctuary (noahs ark) is open in february and if it is how to get there?

hiya i went in dec i think it said its open all year round maybe closing for xmas day.we went on the green tour it was free from the hotel we went to a juice demostration first then up to the sanctuary it was a great morning out they do some good work there. we paid 3 euros each to enter or you could give a donation and stay in guadelest
