yes you can walk over the headland from baga to anjuna. takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
couple of shacks on the way so timing a bit vague.
i gets very hot and is quite hard going in places . taxi return not a problem, we came back on two royal enfields!

It's a cracking walk probably missed by the majority of visitors to the area. Cross over either Baga bridge or wade through the river at low tide, once on the other side just keep left and although the start of the path isn't obvious when you get to the end of the sea wall by the last cafe you will see it. From that point it will take no more than 30 minutes. The path is clear and safe and the views are stunning. Have a good look around the rock pools just before Anjuna beach too, they hold some interesting creatures .
It gets very hot at certain times of the day so make sure you take a bottle of water. If you want you can catch a boat back.
It's much more pleasant going to Anjuna market from the beach because you don't get hassled nearly as much as up by the other entrance.

Will there be any beach left at Anjuna? Over the years it has eroded during the monsoons and last year there was very little beach left for the boats to land at.
