Well, our Turkish delight is over for another year. We returned from Marmaris on Saturday and have had yet another fantastic holiday. Flew out of EMA on 20th July with BMI, despite being slightly late it was a great flight.
We again stayed at the Zevkim and it felt as much a home from home as in previous years despite being under new management. It was greta to see other people that had stayed in previous years too.
The weather was great (as ever) despite getting very burnt early on in the holiday and still suffereing now, think it might have to be factor 50 next year.
Did the usual market thing and dolmus to Turunc but most of the time was spent chillin' by the pool and having water fights with the staff.
Yet again had some great meals, the traditional memebers of our group recommend Smiley's for Sunday dinner (can't comment myself as I didn't go) and Crossroads is still great. For those that are yet to go, the homemade cheesecake at Purple Rain (in the marina next to the carpet place) is fantastic, if anyone goes tell Jon & Matt that Sam recommended it.
49 weeks and counting for the next one.
Know how you feel mate , same with us , its always so depressing coming back after looking forward to it for so long (at least got some efes in the fridge) Roll on 21st july 2008
Simon,
Glad that the Zevkim still in good hands even though it's been taken over. Good to hear you had a good holiday. Is John still at Crossroads? If so will definately pop down for a meal & to see him when we go in Oct
