I took bottles of water thru Palma Airport mid September no problems. Security is now just as you go up the escalator. The scanners that you walk thru have been put on extra sensitive so belts and loose change had to go in trays. Ok nailnippers, small knifes (you use for fruit etc) and sciccors, don't put them in your handluggage. Security checks everthing what's on your body, belts, small monye should be seperate from your body, do not know what happens if people have piercings...
