Genuine Italians as opposed to those which call themselves pizzerias, of which there are loads -

In the old town, Sa Caseta in a square to the side of and behind the town hall.
In the port area, Agnelli (think that's how it's called) in the Calle Barques near to the main promenade. Going out of the port towards Alcanada, Piero Rossi (mainly pizzas). Also in the port area, Don Vito, next to the hotel Viva Golf.
In Alcanada, Momo's.
In the Bellevue area, Pizzeria Roma claims to be, and probably is.

Cannot recommend Romas enough. Eat there at least three times each of the two weeks. Their steaks are to die for, lovely sole dishes, pasta, lasagnes etc superb, service great. You really need to be there before 8.30ish or you may wait for a table. This really is our favourite restaurant in Alcudia without a doubt.

When we first went to Alcudia we drove up from Santa Ponsa and thought it was Blackpool in the sun. Now are boys are older (11 and 8) we have realised that they need more to do - ie. water park within walking distance, go karts etc. Yes you do get your fast food places but you dont have to go there! There are some lovely restaurants in town or down by the harbour. Tacky places like Cheers or Peach Pit are great for kiddies entertainment in the evening but food is awful, so everybody in our family gets a bit of what they like!

There is a general misconception about Puerto Alcudia that the Bellevue area is the main part of the town. It is not. The Bellevue part is a purely tourist and residential zone, which yes is a bit tacky, but not completely.

I understand why this misconception exists as the majority of UK and Irish tourists stay in the Bellevue area.

The port area is the real centre of Puerto Alcudia, as the name implies, while the old town of Alcudia is charming and full of history.
