We are staying at the same place with ....6 kids....we are also looking to go to the aqua park, think its around £21-£23 per adult, less for kids, then i expect theres travel to get there, the place sounds ok as in good food reviews ect, but no beach, so if anyone can recommend the nearest one which is easy to get to that would also be great.

There are a few pictures of Playa Paraiso here taken a couple of years ago so it may have changed.

This was the only place that looked anything like a beach at the time The Beach?

That looks like the cove a round the corner from the 'beach' to me - next to the new shopping centre (which is only half occupied).

The main 'beach' is in front of the lido. It's not very nice and there's often 'unpleasant' stuff floating in the water. The diving school use it - but there again, they do wear wet suits!

Best stick to the hotel pools or the lido.

If you have a car, Puertito is a much nicer bay with proper sand - although it's black sand.

Go down to the bottom of Paraiso and keep going. Up the hill and past the new shopping centre. Follow the road up the hill and take the (1st, I think) road on the right - you will see the Bahia Principe Hotel on the right after 200 metres. Go to the end of the road and turn right down the hill - it's a windy road so be carefull and you will come into Puertito... it's a dead end so you can't go wrong!

Parking is horrendously difficult at the weekends.
