Yes I live about 2 hours' away! My hubby takes our visitors there - but not me yet! I've passed through - seems nice with enough to see, but if you tire of it, get the train to Lucerne (about an hour away) for spectacular mountain scenery. Have a great time!

I live about a 2 1/2 hr drive away, I've been there quite a few times but not recently so things may have changed. Lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. You can take walks round the lakeside or boat trips on the lake. Or as Alsacienne says take the train to Luzern.
