if there is anywhere on the net I can download a 'packing' list. Me and my bf are going away in 12 weeks and it's the first time i've been abroad without my mum buying all the toiletries and other stuff I need. I'm trying to make a list of things now so I can start buying bits now and not end up rushing round town the day before we go because we've forgotten stuff.
I'm trying to make the list myself but I just know I'm going to forget something.
Thanks
I don't know of such list on the internet as each list will be custom made to the individual person.
However, I'm sure that members will contribute here in this topic with essential items on the list.

Hope this lot helps -
All your usual toiletries that you use on a daily basis like moisturiser, toothpaste etc (you'll know what they are).
Make-up
Suncream and aftersun
Painkillers, plasters, diocalm, mozzie spray, tissues
Passport, tickets, money
Clock, travel adaptor, travel iron, hairdryer
Essential girlie items if it's that time of the month
Also, if we are going self catering I always take some washing up liquid, a dishcloth, tea towel and air freshener and then just leave them there when I come home.
Mobile phone charger and/or alarm clock
mini first aid kit.... something for insect bites, antihistamine tablets, antiseptic cream, plasters, headache tablets, immodium
travel wash, mini wash line and pegs for laundry (superdrug do them)
sunglasses (i always break 1 pair, so take 2)
Don't forget to read your airports web page.... any liquids in your hand luggage have to go in a resealable bag which has to be scanned on it's own

Thanks everyone!
Don't forget the kitchen sink
Twice as much money and half as many clothes as you think you'll need.
and remember that unless you're going somewhere really obscure....they do have shops where you can buy the things you've forgotten
