My poor family have had to suffer many a crusty or very late dinner and plenty of quick "throw in the oven chips" type offerings as well
I have also grown very fond of my pj's because quite frankly I can still be here at lunch time . Tuesday morning is my favourite because once the children have all left for school i have the whole day to myself . It is usually spent here.
I agree juby about the odd light hearted thread . Obviously we all enjoy reading and helping people but its good to have a giggle too

Its such a great site and all the useful info and great support is amazing. I think my favourite topic was the "euro chic" one. It really did make me laugh out loud.
Thanks so much and long may it continue.

I'm getting worse at the moment as the company I work for went into administration before Christmas luckily the administrators have kept us on until the end of January, but they have not given us any work to do , so I have been sitting here for six weeks surfing the net.
My favourite topic was the EuroChic I still giggle thinking about the "muffin tops"
Keep up the good work folks.
For those who weren't around/missed the thread here it is.......But be warned - get yourself comfy as it's a long topic:-

On a serious note though I am sure that HT has saved me money over the three years I have been a member and it has also made me widen my horizons and try places that I wouldn't have like Egypt, where I am now thinking of going for a third time. I've also used companys that I probably wouldn't have considered before, like the now sadly defunt wintersunshineholidays and HT gave me the confidence to do DIY's although I am now back to packages at the mo.
My two holidays to Turkey were to excellent hotels and both of them were recommendations from holidaytruths.
Must have my fix every day, or a few times a day. Also Skiathos bulletin board and camboard for Stoupa, and Nerja too
Hey Madmadge, you should check out this page.
lol hi chivas thanks for that
I too am an addict!! I look even when we have nowhere planned to go to. Have to say just by reading around the different forums it does help to extend your knowledge of the travel world. I think it should be essential reading for any travel agent.
I think I'm in the addicted class as well !! Before I go to work in a morning and as soon as I get back, I get to it answering all your aviation related questions. It's a daily ritual. It seems to be in peaks and troughts at the moment though; this weekend has been quiet but I posted over 100 times last weekend! It bugs me when I can't answer something and spend ages digging out the information for members. It's good that people are well informed about their travel plans and it's a great community to share information about places you may wish to visit. Maybe we need an HT annonymous forum!
I'm addicted too and like Dazbo but mainly with the Tunisia forum, though I have a look at others as well and the Euro-Chic discussion had me in stitches. I've got lots of help from members and wouldn't dream of booking a hotel I didn't know without checking on here first. We all know that someone on here will probably have the answer to our queries and we can rely on this advice as no-one is trying to sell us anything but giving their honest opinions. And yes, I've burned the dinner on occasions.
Just 'googled' aslemma and unfortunately one of my posts on here came up mentioning my liking for Cedratine so perhaps HTAnonymous and AA for me
But I haven't managed to get on much this year yet - things happening here seem to
have overtaken me lately.
BUT I will be back on a more regular basis soon I hope.
(I'll have to - I've missed you all. )
Missed you too Milly _Molly
Aawww, thank you Helen!
