Sunshineholidays.com are part of Hays Travel the largest independent Travel Agent in England.
If you have booked with Sunshine it may be they booked the hotel/apartment with On Holiday group who have gone bust but they will find another bed booker as no moneys will have been handed over yet.
They are also ABTA members so your money should be safe.
Only the accommodation part of the bookings are affected.Flights and transfers are OK.

Thanks for this, I read it on another forum, some are mixing up with http://www.sunshine.co.uk so no one seems to know what is going on or who is who, one person has had a call to say they cant go due to the company going into Adminastration

If anyone has ON holiday as their bed provider on their invoice from any travel company they should get in touch on Monday when they open but Sunshine should be OK.
Its Holiday nights and On Holiday that it affected.

It is NOT http://www.sunshine.co.uk or any bookings relating to this company, the company in administration is this totally separate company who operate under a similar name sunshineholidays ltd

http://www.sunshine.co.uk are operating normally and your bookings via them are secure

It is the WHOLE of the On Holiday Group that has been placed in administration, yes some parts of the group are still trading while a buyer is sought to keep it as a going concern - would I purchase anything from them with the very real threat of liqudation and closure hanging over them

Sadly it looks like Onholidaygroup has gone to the wall. Their last tweet was:

Just to add if the supplier of a hotel that you booked through a travel agency is "Holiday Brokers" Or "Euro Rooms" Then your travel agent will be ensuring that you still have a hotel booked, they will either change your booking to another supplier, which will mean you will get a new ATOL Certificate or try and deal directly with the hotel.

If I'm not mistaken they will have to refund your holiday in full if they cannot change it and they cannot charge you more for the privilege.

Some companies will have thousands of bookings to deal with so it may take some time before they get in touch.

But just to reiterate neither sunshine.co.uk or sunshineholidaysltd.co.uk has gone into administration.
