hi all, hubby is a keen fisherman, anyone else going over easter who would like to go on a fishing trip?? we are staying sunset beach resort candolim
Put me down Jane, I am there from 7-28 March, been meaning to have a go but had no one to go with 
great, certainly will do, we are there 16-31st will keep in touch nearer the time....he will be chuffed!!
Does he know of any decent boats with good tackle ? maybe we could do with a few recommendations ? I am taking my own multiplier and a few bits and bobs.

I can recommend Domnic (Dom) and Anthony who does trolling outside the cliffs at the south end of Candolim/Sinqerim beach.
We had a good catch the second day and I got my first Barramundi. We also got 2 Red Snapper and 2 Rockfish and another Barramundi.

Jane I will ask my brother he loves fishing I have a feeling he will be up for it ..will he have to bring all his own stuff..to goa with him .....colleen
I would think he would have to bring some stuff with him, colin takes a telescopic rod and his own reel/weights etc etc it fits in the case easily and is very light, in fact last year we swapped it for a free days eating and drinking with the shack owner!!!
Think most of them supply gear but it`s a personal choice of reel for me, I`m sure the Goans know what they are doing though it was their livelihood once 
Best get a big boat sorted - could be busy !! I arrive at The Sunset Beach Resort Saturday morning on 22nd March for 2 weeks, will probably fancy a trip later in the week (Thurs/Fri) ? Been every year with different boat owners from Sinquerim end, and always had a good laugh (and a few fish caught). Not deep sea fishing but trawling from place to place - me and my mate Jim (talks about sport a lot...) will be up for this.

ok spike, we get there 17th, and we will be using the ganesh shack, i will chat with him and see what he will do for us, we will see you at the sunset beach then should i try to get him to arrange it for the thursday or do you want to wait till you get there?? colin will probably want to go on the first week as well, thats great, he now has a few fishing buddies...i can lie and sunbathe in peace!!!
I will go with the flow if people are near the end of there hols and don't want to use there last few days fishing, (but would still prefer end of our 1st week..)

we only went once last year as we spent most of the time at bobbys near csm, please if you are in touch lwith ganesh let him know we are coming, i know colin cant wait to get fishing!! thats why he will have a few trips, we arrive 17th march, and we will see you when you get there
