Hi All
We'd really love to find a self-catering cottage, sleeping 3-5, that is right next to the sea with a frontage onto the beach. We've tried searching the web but get endless results for cottages that turn out to be either far too large or else some distance away from the sea.
We've enjoyed cottages that have been a few minutes walk from the sea but for once we'd like to have it (almost) at our doorstep. If we fail to find our beach-side cottage, almost as good would be a place above the sea on a cliff-top with extensive sea views.
Our favoured area this year is Anglesey or the Lleyn but anywhere will be considered and information stored away for another time!
Can you help?
http://www.hoseasons.co.uk/lodges/gwalia-falls-gwal - we've not been ourselves but it looks lovely in the brochure.
How about -
Take a look at Sykes Cottages. There is an option to select how far you want to be from the sea. If you want to consider the West Country then we have had several holidays with Helpful Holidays - they are a superb company.
Thanks for the tips Corinne and Pippa. We shall investigate those.
I can recommend Holidays4u.org. I have stayed in St Anns Cottage in Torquay, Devon through Karen at Holidays 4U. It is only a short walk from the beach - really good location.
I agree with Pippa.
