leading on from the flights question, our friends are gonna be booking to stay from saturday to wednesday, but they want to stay near to us as they are only coming for a few days, we are in the white villas in lardos village, does anyone know if there are any rooms ever rented in lardos village, or is it gonna be just the beach or pefkos for rental?

Yes plenty available in Lardos village. The best list i've found is on Rodos.com. The page covers 'Lindos area' but if you look to the right hand side it details exactly where in that area and there are several for 'Lardos Village'.
