Does anyone know of any nice apartments/hotels that take direct bookings in either Ayia Napa area or Protaras Not looking for ultra expensive i.e. 4/5 * just a place to lay one's head and get a good shower with a nice pool area.

Ayia Napa would be preferable but if the apartments are nice enough my friends would consider Protaras or Grecian Bay area. I've already looked at some but not knowing what they're like it could be risky as I can't find any reviews for the few that have replied except dodgy ratings

Would be grateful for a web address or email if anyone can come up with any through past experience with bookings.
