Jet2 take the API at the airport when you check in.
It's years ago that I had the same situation and Thomson took the info at the check-in desk. Monarch's system wasn't able to take it, infact the system couldn't take the info for ZB flights, only MON.
I've had a look on the Thomson site and they state that if you're flying with a different airline, you will receive information with your e-tickets on how to add API.
I'm assuming (as they say another window will open) that you will be directed to the Monarch site to add your API. via your flight reference number.....that's how it seems to me, but don't quote me. lol
