Just booked a late deal with Thompson, but flights are with Monarch. We are assured that the API details can be taken when checking in (the Thompson website will not let us do this) Thompson seem to make a big deal of getting this info well beforehand, so how come Monarch can leave it until the last minute ? Anyone had experience of this ?

Jet2 take the API at the airport when you check in.

It's years ago that I had the same situation and Thomson took the info at the check-in desk. Monarch's system wasn't able to take it, infact the system couldn't take the info for ZB flights, only MON.

I've had a look on the Thomson site and they state that if you're flying with a different airline, you will receive information with your e-tickets on how to add API.
I'm assuming (as they say another window will open) that you will be directed to the Monarch site to add your API. via your flight reference number.....that's how it seems to me, but don't quote me. lol
