Hello!

Can anyone tell me if there is a dress code for the buffet restaurants in the evenings as some hotels ask men to wear long trousers?

Thanks!

Hi Lynda, I think there was a dress code but it wasn't followed from what I could see. Certainly at lunch, despite notices advising ' no swimwear' these weren't being adhered to.

This may have been asked before but where do you collect your pool towels from?

Thanks!

We collected ours from the Club reception and also the Spa at the World side. Think there's by the pool at the World side too.

We returned from Aqua fantasy on 29th August to a few dry days and now more rain...bleurgh!

We enjoyed our holiday there but after 3 days we were actually glad that we were only there for a week not 2. This was more a personal thing as we have done Turkey all inclusive for 3 consecutive years and the novelty has worn off more than anything specific to the resort.

My one bit of advice is to take euros rather than lira as you got a lot more for your money in euros.

We paid 90 lira for late checkout til 2300hrs, not 75 as was stated by someone else on here. I tried to bargain with them ("my friend only paid 75...") but they just wouldn't budge! It was worth it though as were we able to enjoy a leisurely last day rather than rushing to be out of the room.

We did the "Lazy Days" boat trip, booked with First Choice which was good value for money. It does say recommended for adults but there were plenty of kids on the trip and they all enjoyed it.

Weather was between 37 and 40 degrees, sunny and hot. One brief rain storm lasting 15 mins on our last morning at about 8am. Boy, did I laugh at the number of people who came down to soggy towels that morning... :rofl

Brits tend to gravitate more towards the World pool.

Kusadassi is a good 15-20mins in a taxi, not great if you like to go out every night.

We did put towels out at about 7ish the couple of days we spent sitting around the normal pool but if you are going into the water park everyday then you don't need to worry as it opens at 10 and you can just go straight in an get a bed then if you are not an early riser.

I will do a full review. Any questions, please ask!

hey guys im of aqua fantasy in 3 weeks as part of family group of 21. can anyone advise which side of the hotel is actually the best, as there is lots of talk about a "world" side and a "club" side. whats the difference and which has the best rooms. we have 7 Junior Rooms booked ( apparantly caters for 3-4 adults ) but for one of our family's there is 2 adults and 3 young children, do you think that these rooms will fit all 5 of them in comfortably and is there anyway we can request this room to have the seperating sliding doors to give the two adults a seperate area for when they have put the children to bed. our holiday paperwork states that our rooms have garden views?? has anyone else had these "garden views" and which side are they likely to be in and are they nice.
also i am taking my 4 month old son...does anyone know if they supply cots/cribs for the infant to sleep in?

hmmm sorry to bore you with all my questions but please please i want alll the info i can get, and i want to try to email the hotel direct to find if i can choose what side of the hotel we be put in ... but i need to know which is the best side :P any info is welcome.

Thanks

We had 2 x junior rooms and they were at the Club side which is mainly Dutch. We had no problems with this as it's closer to the waterpark and is situated between 2 of the main 3 pools. All the rooms have garden views as there are extensive ones, it just means that you haven't paid extra for sea views. Our room didn't have dividing doors but was mainly made up of two bedrooms with a small corridor between housing the wardrobe and mini bar and having the bathroom leading off, so it was quite private really. There's plenty of room for 4/5, one room having a double bed and the other a single and double sofa bed. The room we stayed in was very large with plenty of storage. The world side is newer and more British but the rooms we saw were smaller than ours and we would opt for the Club side if we were to go again. Having said that, as there are so many in your party you may prefer to have rooms together in which ever part they can accomodate you. There's not much distance from one side to another and each can be accessed within a few minutes from the other.

I'm sure cost are provided but request one through the company you booked with and email the hotel direct too to make sure there are no hitches when you arrive.

hi Chrissi, yes cots are supplied, we took our 21 mth old in June this year & we had a lovely travel cot already in the room for us :)
we stayed in the World part of the hotel which was mixed nationlities when we were there,
we also had a garden view, which was a huge vast space of like deserted ground behind us & a stream!! it was fine though, we could look out to the hotel behind us (miles away).

you'll love it, we want to go back but the prices for nxt yr are a joke!!
have fun :sun2

Hi,

Can anyone help with a few questions? the A La Carte restaurants don't seen to be included in the all inclusive, do they just charge you a cover charge or full price? if so, how expensive are they?

Also what drinks are included?

Thank you

Hi Emma

You book the A La Carte restaurants at a small desk in the World side of the resort (next to the reception desk). The last time I was there, each restaurant had a set price, which was in YTL, but was very cheap. I can't remember the exact price, but for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child) came to approx 17 YTL (about £7.00). Drinks were included as well (beer, soft drinks, wine by the glass etc). Premium drinks and bottled wines were extra.

I can recommend the Turkish and the Steak restaurants (I would starve yourself if you want to go to the Turkish one as it was a 4-course meal and they were hugh portions).

We are going back to Aqua Fantasy in August so can't wait to eat their traditional Turkish kebabs.

We have booked to go to this hotel next year (6adults, 6kids) and was wondering if anyone can tell us how far is the hotel from the town center? can you walk it or do you really need to go by taxi, dolmus.
Reply
You will have to book a taxi as it is quite remote, I'm afraid.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Do you have to take your own beach towels with you for the sun beds. It says on the website that these may incur a charge. Does anyone who has been recently know if you have to pay for them or not.

We were due to go to Costa del Sol Holiday Village on 4th September but they failed to tell us they are allowing another hotel to use the 'exclusive' beach club. Not so exclusive then really, so they have breached their contract with us. We have changed our booking to go here now and we can't wait.

Thanks in advance.

There are dolmus's passing the hotel and the current charge for going into town is 2.5TL....journey takes around 15 mins.
