The point I was trying to make is - that by paying for a sunbed at Bono's I can use their toilets.

However, if I want to try the food at Pete's, which has a more varied menu and is also much cheaper then I am free to do so.

Pete's toilets are also very nice, but not quite so good as Bono's.

HI Everyone, are some shacks still charging for use of sunbeds? We normally use big banana & Bosco's anyone know if they are charging for sb's. Me & the Mrs will be there end of March.

The toilets at the Ceu Mar are the best by far, we went for the first time in January and used varies shacks and loos :hah, also the food there is wonderful. They really are spotless, carnt believe im comparing loos, what is the world comming to

As one who tends to drink tea or coffee through the day, i do not choose a shack on how clean the loo is, but how far from the well is the loo!!!!

There are a few shacks that are still doing very well out of all this, Bono's, Bayview, and a few others that you all should know. the shack we are going to they are being very selective in who they are charging for the beds, they are only charging people that are only there for a few weeks, us they havent event tried charging. But the prices are well above resturants in Calangute and Candolim, the shach we use charge 190 for a prawn cocktail, which is rubbish, you go to the Mango and you get a far superior prawn cocktail for 90rps, chips are 80rps when in a resurant they are 35/50 rps.

I think that they are now starting to see that there is not going to be a good season next year. and are starting to get worried.

If we are not careful they will all latch on to the fact that if they put in a posh bog and get new sunbeds they can up their prices. Then we will all be complaining "Goa,s not what it used to be" You can have the posh new Goa and pay for it but please dont moan about it later.

I think there is only 1 toilet on Middle Vagator at Kumars He doesn`t let anybody from the other shacks use it either even after offering to buy a drink first the miserable sod, the only option is to climb up the cliff and use the Alcove, thank god I don`t drink beer in the day time
