Just returned yesterday.... I normally use the Thomas Cook Sunday flights to and from Newcastle. The ticket for return says desks open at 15.30........... this is wrong.

On arrival at Sharm airport for return journey, I was at the desk at 16.10 and I was the last passenger to check in. the desk was just about to close!!!!!!! ALL charter flights require you to be there 3 hours before take off, just like all other international departures. It has just changed. Charter buses bring you to the airport earlier if you are on a poackage.I thought I would never see my case again, but all is well.

So if you are flight only, please allow enough time to get in to the check in desks... I was sweating buckets by the time I got to the bus to the flight, and didn't sit down once.
