Hi bluejohn, we were in Armacao in the summer of 2004. There was a fair bit of building work going on around the outskirts of Armacao - the main road to Albufeira. I don't remember much in the centre of the resort. We were staying near the Senhora da Rocha area, and there was a fair bit of buiding going on in this area too, but nothing that will ruin your holiday. Where are you staying?
