Hi all
I have read good reviews for this hotel. It was mentioned they have their own website, but I have looked over the web, but found nothing but travel companies selling holidays. Does anyone know the actual web address for this hotel?
Thanks
Dawn
Hi
Thankyou HollyDay for the address. I have visited the website of the hotel and it looks fantastic.

Hi Dawn
Just received a letter from Thomas Cook to say building work going on at this hotel, re-furbishing rooms & installing a new lift.
Been given the option to change but don't really want to as we spent ages agonising over where to go.
Has anybody been recently?
Are all facilities available?
Is it noisy at night/early mornings?
does the air- c o n work?
Am I going to get another ear-bashing from SWMBO if we make a wrong choice?
Yhanks in advance Tom.
Just bumping this up as there is a time limit on the offer to change hotel.
My friend had the same letter, and she is due to go friday, she rang the hotel, and was told they were putting in new bathrooms, and were on the 4th floor. She had to kick up a fuss to be changed, but is going to theguayamina princess .My other friend is in my apartment now, and went to take a look, said she could see no building work going on, so do not know what to advise you to do.
I am concerned though for anyone travelling with Thomsons or First Choice as our TA couldn't find any info on their systems so their customers won't know what is going on.
Thanks, Tom.
PS They won't start on the lift till the rooms are finished
I think everyone should be aware of what I have just seen.
It was an article on tripadvisor bout the arona gran, if you serach on google it comes up.
I (and my girlfriend) plan to go mid June, and i'm little worry by what i've read. This is our first holiday in 3 years, and we dont want it to be ruined and nobody would.
I've been check various sites during the past 2 months since receiving a letter saying they are doing 'room redecorating' and am trying to keep tabs on it...! I spoke to my travel agent and she couldnt find anything to put us off, but the link above does!
If anyone find out any information, please please post as i certainly will!!!
Hope everything works out well for everyone and things are better than they might seem.
After reading that review we spent ages wondering what to do. Finally we decided as we're not lucky enough to have more than one holiday abroad each year we couldn't take a chance and have changed our booking to the Torviscas Playa.
Now we just have to hope we've done the right thing.
Oh well roll on 1st June we'll find out for ourselves
Happy Hols, Tom.
We stayed at Paradise Park in Los Cristianos last year and were sent a similar letter from First Choice. However we only saw builders once in the two weeks we were there and they were acceptablely quiet.
To be honest I don't think i've ever stayed at a hotel where some sort of refurbishment work is going on and I've never had a problem.
