Hi has anyone stayed there lately, were they ok and where abouts are they. We're having to change our accommodation and we had booked with jewell in the Crown so dont have much accommodation to choose from, no one can agree on where to stay or go is the problem (typical).

Onur apts (Richards bar) looks too cramped out the back, we ate there quite often this year.
Dermicioglu they've stopped selling for some reason (the onse we had booked)
and the Arya are the only other SC apts.

The hotels seem a tad dear considering its B&B and we most likely wont eat it either, especially the kids, am not mad on Tukish breakfast. It would be ok if we can do toast or something.

personally I wouldnt mind going to Olu Deniz again, or MArmaris (more choice in Marmaris). Its for next years hols.

Any info would be welcomed.

My review of these apartments are on this webiste. As long as you get put in the neew block you should be fine.

Children in Turkey are welcomed all over and many of the boys will play with them! You will have a good time in Turkey but it will be very hot during August!!!!

Arya are close to the town and is just a straight path down to the centre! You will find many great places to eat and go out to down this strip but you must explore all over during the night to get the feel of Icmeler!!

Icmeler is a great resort and you will find you want to return year after year! Also try not to stick to one restraunt all the time because there are so many great ones there. I would reccomend Richards Place or Noels. Also if you get some adult time try the Harmany Bar where there is a brillant drag act on every night. This is at the end of beach!

Hi Nat, yes I did. In actual fact tried to book Arya over the weekend and they dont have 2 apts available at the same time. I looked at those on the website they look nice, they dont seem to be on sale yet.

I gather there'll be more accommodation available when the second brochure comes out around October, so i'll have to try then , hoping that they have more than 1 SC apt in Icmeler.

It feels like its been one big jinx this booking, Failing that I give up and will try and go to Goa with J in the Crown as they go there as well. Cant cancel altogether even though am tempted because I'll still have to pay the deposit and £500 is a lot to loose these days.
