hi a friend of ours as just returned from greece and the reps told them they could only bring back dutyfree back in hand luggage not in suit case as anyone else been told this when returning from majorca

We had no problem bringing back booze in suitcase from Majorca last year. But we take some bubble wrap to pack round it.

We also had ours wrapped in towels in the case in June this year and no problems for us either.

been to Turkey,Benidorm,Terife,and Majorca in the last year and always wrapped mine in bubble wrap and placed inbetween layers of towels/clothes.
Never had a problem with plastior glass bottles

Booze

Due to the airline companies being very strict with your baggage weight allowance now I just buy about 4 bottles in the airport and carry it on to the plane as hand luggage. Our cases are usually full of cigs and carrying our full weight allowance.
