Well the owner of a hotel I stayed in Thailand was less than happy with them - advertising his hotel when he did not have a contract with them at rates he was not prepared to accept - and advised me to steer clear (I'd already read some negative things about them before this though).

booked through them,for bali last year,had no problems at all.everything went like clock work.
my sister has also used them,again no problems.this is only our experience though,but i would definately use them again.

I used them to book Kata Beach Resort Phuket for October after reading a whole thread of complaints. I took advise from friends who regularly use them to Bali, Singapore and Penang and have never had any problems with Asiarooms... so I took a breathe and booked. I've recently been in contact with Kata Beach direct to request a particular room. I gave them our booking number and they replied saying it was ok... so no problems there.

ive used them many times for hotels in bangkok ,singapore and malaysia with no problems

I believe the problems arise should you need to cancel or if the hotel has overbooked.
