No building work, no empty or derelict shops, a clean and tidy resort, providing tourism at it's best with unspoilt beaches and azure seas.
I think I want to move house..... What a shame I have to work

Both Paphos and Limassol should take a leaf from Napa's book and make an asserted effort to tidy their tourist areas up. No more scruffy shop fronts or crappy frontages of closed businesses on Bar Street (Paphos), give us proper pavements and walkways, and make the most of what Cyprus has to offer.
However, the East coast has always had the best of the coastline in my estimation and couple that with gorgeous beaches it's no wonder Ayia Napa is alive with tourists.

And a great hotel to boot, situated along Nissi Avenue - no noise from the bars at night and none inside the hotel either. (Adults only but still with the "twenty somethings" in residence. We never heard a peep from them!:

So for anyone who thinks Ayia Napa is all about clubbing and bars you can rest easy, there's plenty of diversions available for all ages. Stay away from The Square area and you can have a peaceful and relaxing holiday with your family or as a couple.
