We stayed at the Hotel Tenerife Playa in Puerto de la Cruz (I added a review).
We visited lots of the island and did a fair few walks. We saw some amazing views although did get lost in the cloud in aguamansa the once.
If you've never been to Tenerife before, you must must go up the cable car to Mt Teide. The views from the top are something else. We also did some walking from the cable car point to the visitors centre. However much you hate walking - Do this!! It wasn't that difficult and took about 2.5 hours.
Anyone who's going soon, have a great time. I've only been back a week and wish I was going back already! Especially since it hasn't stopped raining since I got back!
