thanks Glynis the golden bahia was one of the hotels we looked at so we booked flights with ryanair and hotel half board with thomson 2nd week of september excellent value for a few pounds over a grand total for 4.the hotel also gives free drinks with meals. i now need to look at transfers, the taxi's looks expensive.

We used http://www.reciocars.com/ and their service was prompt and the taxi's and drivers were exeptionally well turned out. I've priced up for 4 and it would be €109 return.

Shuffle transfer with Travel Repulic works out £76

Personally I'd go for the taxi you're out the airport and on your way without having to hang about, also you could end up dropping others off at various resorts on the way, both ways.
