We just came back last week, flew with Flyglobespan, luckily I bought extra baggage allowance so was OK but they have now started weighing hand luggage along with your hold luggage.

Interesting, I was a couple of kilos over when I came back in April, but no-one batted an eyelid, though I was holing my breath waiting to be charged.....

As far as I'm aware the rules for hand luggage will be changing from July 5th. At present the size of hand luggage seems to be fairly flexible but restrictions will be brought into place on July 5th and will limit hand luggage sizes to the internationally agreed dimensions of 56 cm long, 45 cm wide and 25 cm deep.

Passengers carrying luggage exceeding these limits will be returned to check-in, causing delays.
