Hi sunhat
Takes approx 6.5hrs to get to Bahrain and you are there about 1 hr but it does take a while to walk to duty free (and smoking) area, you have to you through security check so if you at back of plane it does take up shopping time
Hope this helps
Thanks for the info Goanaddict, We go tomorrow at 17.30
As some people have suggested it might pay you to compare prices with bahrain and goa before you buy in bahrain as i take it you will be stopping in bahrain on the way back.
Thank's that does make sense, I'll have to keep the reins on her.
Thank god the wife is the accountant in our house as she keeps the reins on me
How long is it then from bahrain to goa? I keep hearing different reports of how long the flight is in total and want to preprare myself!
Sorry i cant help as i have only done bahrain to kerala which was about four hours i reckon about three and half hours but no doubt somebody will soon tell us.
Its approx 3.5hrs from Bahrain. Regarding stopping on the way back I dont think you will, we flow Sat from Man and was told on the air plane to buy goods etc on the way out as the return flight landed in Cyprus and unfortunately you dont get off the plane, we had 1.5hrs on tarmac which wasnt much fun
Have a great time.
so 6.5 hours to Bahrain and then 3.5 hours to goa, so 10 hours in total approx. thanks very much for the info! x
11 or so if you count the hour you are in Bahrain!! Just in case you were timing yourself to organise a taxi
no its ok just trying to mentally preprare myself for actual time up in the air!! but thanks anyway! x
del
ok so I have stopped there 3 times now but can't remember if they accept $ at the burger bar or do you have to change your £ up at the travel ex
hi im sure we used sterling to grab a beer last year.would be interesting to know for this year..when are you going?
Yes we paid with sterling last year.
We always take some small denomination U.S.$ as you usually get your change in Barhain coins and a dollar is less than a pound also most of the goods are also priced in U.S. as well as Barhain dollars Alan
Was in Bahrain airport on saturday and they accepted sterling for our two beers.
thanks peeps
paid in sterling, got change in sterling!
Went last November with instructions to buy stuff for my daughter in Bahrain...and then flew direct! Same coming back.
