Hi sunhat,

As some people have suggested it might pay you to compare prices with bahrain and goa before you buy in bahrain as i take it you will be stopping in bahrain on the way back.

Hi Sunbeame

Its approx 3.5hrs from Bahrain. Regarding stopping on the way back I dont think you will, we flow Sat from Man and was told on the air plane to buy goods etc on the way out as the return flight landed in Cyprus and unfortunately you dont get off the plane, we had 1.5hrs on tarmac which wasnt much fun :(

Have a great time.

Actual shopping time in Bahrain on the way out is about 30 mins, on the way back it's about 35 as the plane goes to a pier nearer the shops!

hi im sure we used sterling to grab a beer last year.would be interesting to know for this year..when are you going?
Reply
Yes we paid with sterling last year.

Have a good holiday and see you at The Phoenix Park 8)

We always take some small denomination U.S.$ as you usually get your change in Barhain coins and a dollar is less than a pound also most of the goods are also priced in U.S. as well as Barhain dollars Alan

Was in Bahrain airport on saturday and they accepted sterling for our two beers.

paid in sterling, got change in sterling!
I suppose it depends if they have any sterling coins in the tills
