Hi all,

Right, we're spending part of our honeymoon in Bali, have narrowed our hotel choices down, wanted to get some advice from people who've been there.

Ubud: We're looking at the Alila or the Maya Ubud. Anyone recommend or warn us away from either of these???

Beach: We're thinking of Seminyak because of: good beach, and facing west for sunsets; range of restaurants and stuff outside of Hotel, access to Kuta without being in the place. Choices are Oberoi or Legian...but the Legian is going to be more money. Same question guys - any experiences good or bad??? Have heard the Oberoi is getting tired...but is there a realistic 4* alternative nearby?
Alternatively can anyone recommend a different hotel in a different resort with similar criteria (mainly outside restaurants and good beach)?
